The draw
Order decided by lucky draw or by agreement, whichever your group prefers. Once set, everyone can see the whole running order.
Your period
Monthly or quarterly. The group picks, and the app anchors every round to it.
Meet polls
Pick the Sunday together. The draw only opens once the group has confirmed a date and that day has arrived.
The ledger
Every contribution and payout, written once and never edited. Each member sees what they put in and what they took out.
If your circle runs differently
Some circles do it differently.
Most run one hand per member and draw one name at each sitting. Some don’t. Both are choices your group makes when it sets up, and neither should mean changing how your circle works to fit an app.
Hands
Someone taking two hands pays twice each round and is drawn twice, so the circle runs longer and every pot is bigger. A ten-member circle where two people hold two hands each runs twelve rounds, not ten.
Set before the circle starts, and fixed once it does.
Draws per sitting
A circle can draw more than one name at each meet. The pot splits between the names drawn, and the circle reaches its end sooner — useful for a large group that does not want to wait two years to come round.
Together, hands and draws decide the circle’s duration — shown before anyone commits.
Both are locked once the circle goes live. Changing either mid-cycle would move the pot under rounds that have already settled.
₹1,500 a month is a wall. ₹50 a day is a habit.
